2026 Litter Plans

 

We are hopeful that spring 2026 will bring the soft patter of tiny paws, when Elsie is planned to have a litter with her carefully chosen beau.

Both parents have been extensively health tested with excellent results. Dad has also sired several assistance and therapy dogs, and we are excited about the qualities this pairing is expected to bring.

Puppies are anticipated in blue and silver, and our waiting list is now open to a small number of carefully selected families seeking their next much loved companion.

We believe that confident, well balanced puppies begin long before they open their eyes. It starts with thoughtful breeding choices and parents who offer a steady, reliable foundation on which their puppies can build.

While we may occasionally keep a puppy ourselves,  most will go on to become cherished family companions. For that reason temperament is never an afterthought. It sits front and centre of any pairing we plan. We carefully select parents with outstanding health test results, excellent temperaments and correct conformation, ensuring that each litter is bred with purpose, integrity and the future in mind.

From their very first days, Marcasite Poodle puppies are raised in the heart of the home, surrounded by warmth, careful handling and an abundance of affection.

Our socialisation programme begins on day three with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Stimulation (ESS) and gently unfolds over the following eight weeks. Puppies are introduced to a variety of people, surfaces and environments, everyday household sounds, multi sensory enrichment toys, car journeys, grooming and vet visits. They begin learning to take treats politely from the hand, start the foundations of toilet training and develop the confidence to explore the world with curiosity rather than concern.

It is both a privilege and a joy to raise these little characters and to watch them blossom into steady, adaptable and much loved companions alongside their families.
