A Glimpse into Their Everyday World
The photographs on this page are not show stacks, polished portraits or perfectly fluff dried coats.
You won’t see sculpted topknots, precision trims or immaculate grooming. In fact, some of them look decidedly windswept, slightly muddy, and wonderfully unbothered.
And that is entirely the point.
These images capture my dogs as they truly are from one day to the next. Racing across fields with ears flying. Playing on our wonderful Devon beaches. Watching the world go by from the top of a tor. Munching on raw bones in the garden. Living, simply and happily, as much-loved family dogs.
While showing and presentation are part of our journey, they are only a small chapter in the story. The larger chapters are written in muddy paws, long walks, enrichment games, companionship, and being very much included in everyday life.
Our dogs are not tucked away in kennels. They share our home, our sofas, our routines and our downtime. They are exercised, stimulated, adored and occasionally a little bit spoiled. Above all else, they are allowed to be dogs.
So if their coats look a little crinkly around the edges, or their trim is not perfectly aligned, I hope you will see beyond that. I hope you will see the bright eyes, relaxed bodies and the quiet confidence that comes from being raised in a stable, loving environment.
These photographs are not about perfection.
They are about happiness.
